More about the benefits of being a member of an SAA club
The Sub-Aqua Association (SAA) is a recognised diver training agency in the UK which meets BSI standards. The training is delivered by volunteers who give up their time for free, because they want to pass on a love of diving.
If you want to learn to scuba dive then your local SAA Club will be able to teach you to dive and provide a group of like minded divers to dive with in the future, both in the UK and on holiday.
If you are already a qualified diver and just want to go diving then your local SAA club will recognise qualifications from all the major training organisations. SAA divers are famous for being the friendliest divers in the world.
The SAA has a policy of working with related organisations and has active relationships with CMAS, RNLI, British Diver Safety Group (BDSG), Combined Diving Association (CDA), Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) and many others.
