If you answer yes to any of these questions then perhaps you’re the ideal person to join the SAA Executive or become a Regional Representative.
It’s that time of year again when we’re looking for passionate and enthusiastic SAA members to help shape the association. As you know, the SAA is organised into regions and we’re looking for Regional Representatives to represent their region twice yearly at National Council Meetings. The role also includes helping to guide clubs and Diving Officers, raising the profile of the SAA and local SAA clubs as well as being responsible for the delivery of SAA courses in their region.
Nominations for the role of Executive are also open so if you have the time and are willing to commit to working as part of the National Council we would love to hear from you. Again, it’s all to do with being part of the management team to take the SAA on it’s journey of giving scuba diving clubs the structure they need to facilitate training and safe scuba diving. The ethos of the SAA is to be the voice of independent dive clubs so experience at a local club level is advantageous but not necessary. The Council need people with various skills and experience so if you think you could be an asset to the association please do complete a

The Regional Representatives are an integral part of the SAA; they help voice those issues which are important at club and local level to the National Council and can be a really facilitator of change. Likewise the role of Executive is key to the success of the association so if you feel you have the skills to fit either position, please do submit a nomination form before the closing date of Friday 14th December 2018
